Fitness Ideas in KL #1: Argentine Tango

Iskandar Zulkarnain, Initial T tango trainer and partner

Want to get a solid workout accompanied with the sway of sensual music? Two words. Argentine Tango. And we know just the place to begin. Initial T is where you can learn from the talented tango team, Alyzsa Lim and Iskandar Zulkarnain. Fifth place winners in the ruthlessly competitive Asian Tango Championship in Tokyo 2017, you can be rest assured of the duo’s tango capabilities. Masters of stage tango (a tango form dominated by back-breaking moves to impress the crowd), they borrow elements from it, integrating those striking moves onto the social tango floor. A fun yet challenging form of physical exertion and immense coordination, coupled with the engaging social interactions, tango is indeed a pleasure to participate it, and doesn’t hurt that it works up a real sweat.
