So, most people don’t really come by Kota Kemuning. It’s not a place that commands attention. Even so, I find myself pleasantly surprise when I stumble upon any of its hidden treasures. Which was what happened last weekend. I went to The Parque Café at Eco Sanctuary. When you get to the place, you’ll have to park your car at a designated area opposite the café and hop on a buggy to get to your destination. Don’t worry, it wasn’t a hassle, took just three mins and the guards were extremely helpful and pleasant about it.
The quaint glass house café surrounded by a garden was like something out of a fairy tale. Was thinking to myself, “My, I would NOT mind living here, and walking my dog down this very European designed streets, in heels, which is super impractical but you know, this place was so posh, I could pull it off”.
For a café that oozed luxury in terms of the exterior infrastructure, I have to admit, I was quite nervous about the price. Cringing at the thought of paying an arm and a leg just to get a drink at this place.
But surprisingly, the prices here are quite reasonable.
The menu was quite limited, but what impressed me the most were their cakes.
There were huge. I had the Chocolate Belgium Cake for (RM 13) and Grilled Chicken Sandwich (RM13).
The sandwich was surprisingly good, and the cake, let’s just say that I would have ordered a second slice if not for my sheer willpower to stick to my damn diet. Was really yummy. I would definitely return for it.
All in all, I loved sitting in that glass house café. The ambiance was perfect and the food was decent. It was one lavish but happily affordable experience.
